Al-Salamu Alaikum,

Whether you are an enrolled student, a prospective student, an incoming freshman, or even a transfer student from another college; we would like to introduce you to the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at Bowling Green State University! As a group of brothers and sisters in faith, we realize that our strength lies in our unity as a community, as well as our personal devotion to God. We hope to foster that unity by helping each other along the way as we deal with the struggles of campus lifestyles and the temptations associated with them. MSA is made of students who were once in the same position as you; people who left their established social circles and turned a new chapter in their lives.

We are a social group for the Muslim students on campus; consisting of people of different origins, nationalities, and culture; serving the needs of students by the virtues of brotherhood and sisterhood; a means by which students maintain and increase their retention in our college environment as well as have an expression of their creativity and ideas; a tool by which all individuals on campus learn about Islam and its beauty; a voice for the Ummah on this campus and of all Muslims worldwide. Above all, MSA is the stepping stone by which students learn the techniques, develop the motivation, and acquire the passion to commit their lives for their betterment and success.

Thus, MSA is whatever you decide to make of it! Come to our events and make new friends, learn more about classes and your major, understand more about the Islamic faith, and discover more things about yourself in the process. While our general body consists mainly of Muslims, we are definitely open to everyone interested.
